Reno, Nevada, USA: (PRWEB) May 14, 2015 -- The Geothermal Resources Council (GRC) has announced more details of events at the world’s largest annual geothermal conference, held this year at the Peppermill Resort Spa Casino, Reno, Nevada, USA, September 20-23, 2015.
Just before the start of the GRC Annual Meeting & GEA Geothermal Energy Expo, the GRC Annual Charity Golf Tournament will take place September 20 on the Hills Course at Red Hawk Golf Resort in nearby Sparks. Registration for the tournament is now open. This year the proceeds from the tournament will go to the GRC Scholarship Fund and a local charity.
Designed by three-time U.S. Open champion Hale Irwin, the Hills Course offers players a Scottish links-style layout that has small and dastardly greens, dramatic elevation changes, deep bunkering and immaculate views of one of the most scenic golf destinations in the United States.
More details of the tournament can be found on the GRC website at http://www.geothermal.org. You can register online or download the GRC Annual Charity Golf Tournament Flyer and fill out a registration form which can be mailed or faxed to the GRC office.
The GRC Annual Meeting & GEA Geothermal Energy Expo is the industry’s largest annual gathering of leading geothermal energy scientists, producers, renewable energy industry stakeholders, regulators, utilities, and key associated business leaders. The four-day event will offer technical, policy, and market conference sessions, educational seminars, tours of local geothermal and renewable energy projects, and numerous networking opportunities.
Registration to the GRC Annual Meeting will open in July and will also include entry to the GEA Expo. Room reservations can now be made on the GRC website at http://www.geothermal.org. A discounted room rate is available until August 28, so early reservations are recommended.
