Harbor Village Detox is a drug and alcohol addiction treatment center in South Florida dedicated to helping patients struggling with addiction make a fully recovery. The drug treatment center is hopeful subsequent community sessions will spring from the first event hosted by the delray Police Department. An associate comments, “I think this is a wonderful idea. Giving the community a venue to ask questions and get answers from professionals in the field about addiction, as opposed to gathering information from other unreliable sources without a clear understanding about the disease of addiction. In this way the police department is free to clear up the misconceptions commonly provoked by the topic of addiction. Its important communities outside of Delray [Beach] participate in the event. Their collective interest may spur other local and state departments to host their own events and become more understanding to those struggling to get sober.”

In an effort to provide affordable recovery treatment to all persons struggling with addiction, Harbor Village Detox accepts 88 different forms of insurance for the full spectrum of their addiction treatment. Patients enrolled at the recovery center are immediately treated for the illness of withdrawal.
