Delray Beach Police Hold Live Twitter Chat May 13th at Noon to Debunk Myths About Drug Addiction
Miami, FL (PRWEB) May 13, 2015 -- According to the Palm Beach Post on May 13th, 2015 the delray Beach Police Department and the Greater Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce will host a live chat on twitter for the community. The goal of the community chat is to disband the myths surrounding drug addiction, and allay the negative connotations surrounding drug and alcohol addiction treatment in Florida. The Twitter chat will begin at noon (12pm EST) with #DelrayBeachChat. Residents of Delray and the surrounding Florida area are encouraged to participate, ask questions, and learn about the intrinsic nature of addiction. The police department hopes to bridge the gap between the community at large and recovering patients with knowledge and compassion.
