Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) May 14, 2015
The Underactive Bladder Foundation today announced the second International Congress for Underactive Bladder (CURE-UAB), to be held at the Grand Hyatt in Denver, Colorado on December 3rd and 4th, 2015. The 1.5 day program will feature research, clinical care, and technological advancements for Underactive Bladder (UAB), a condition affecting a person’s ability to empty their bladder fully. UAB is associated with decreased quality of life and increased use of urinary catheterization.
The event will feature presentations from a world renowned faculty, panel discussions, working groups, and poster sessions. This international gathering will appeal to clinicians, academicians, industry representatives, and other stakeholders from the fields of urology, geriatrics, gynecology, neurology, and general medicine. The second CURE-UAB follows last year’s CURE-UAB which featured 14 guest lectures. The successful meeting was attended by a global audience over 100 physicians and other healthcare professionals.
A limited number of travel scholarships are available to individuals who submit an abstract for poster presentation. The deadline for abstract submission is October 2, 2015. Additional information about CURE-UAB will be available to attendees at the American Urological Association Annual Meeting May 15-19 in New Orleans, LA at The Underactive Bladder Foundation Booth in the Patient Advocacy Hub.
