EarthCam Selects 9/11 Memorial Museum Architects to Design Its New Headquarters
New York, May 13, 2015 (PRWEB) May 13, 2015 -- EarthCam announced today that it has chosen architecture firm Davis Brody Bond to design its new 10 acre campus in Northern New Jersey. The leading webcam technology company has experienced sustained growth for over 18 years, driving the need for a new corporate headquarters. In selecting the award-winning firm, EarthCam has secured a collaborator who is experienced in designing smart industrial facilities and awe-inspiring cultural designs.
The project, led by partner Steven M. Davis, FAIA, is five times the size of EarthCam’s current headquarters, making it the largest facility in the world dedicated to webcam technology and services. Consistent with their hard working and dynamic culture, the campus fosters a fun, energetic work environment with indoor/outdoor café, gym and recreation areas. DBB and partner Spacesmith designed the interior, where floor to ceiling windows and skylights bring the outdoors in, and provide natural light to the open, organic work spaces throughout the building.
The revitalized grounds, originally designed by famed Landscape Architect James Rose, will now include meditation areas, walking paths and bike trails.
