Northern Virginia Technology Council to Host the 19th Annual Greater Washington Technology CFO Awards
Herndon, Va. (PRWEB) May 13, 2015 -- The Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC) will host the 2015 Greater Washington Technology CFO Awards on Monday, June 8. The awards recognize chief financial officers and financiers for extraordinary achievement and excellence in promoting the development of the Greater Washington region's technology community.
Now in its 19th year, the NVTC-produced awards program honors individuals and teams in the following categories: Public Company CFO of the Year, Private Company CFO of the Year, Emerging Growth CFO of the Year, and Financier of the Year, which is presented to an individual or group that has contributed to the economic development of the Greater Washington region’s technology community. In addition, the Michael G. Devine Hall of Fame Award will be presented to April Young of Hercules Technology Growth Capital in recognition of her contributions to the Greater Washington region's technology business community.
Winners in all four categories will be announced at the awards banquet on June 8, 2015, at The Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner in McLean, Va.
The Public Company CFO of the Year Award finalists are:

The Private Company CFO of the Year Award finalists are:

The Emerging Growth CFO of the Year Award honors the chief financial officer of a company with revenue less than $50 million. The finalists are:

• Chris Hoyt, APX Labs
• Luke Leininger, Avizia
• Pat McCoy, ScienceLogic Inc.
• Robert Richards, National Technologies Associates
The Financier of the Year Award honors an individual or firm representing venture capital, private equity investor or investment, merchant, or commercial banker who has contributed to the economic development of the region’s technology community. The finalists are:

• SWaN & Legend Venture Partners
These awards are a joint endeavor of Deloitte, Ernst & Young, KPMG and PricewaterhouseCoopers, and the chairmanship of the event is rotated among the four accounting firms. The chairman of this year's awards program is Gary Tabach of Deloitte & Touche LLP.
