Vollrath Company showcases new induction products as part of EXPERIENCE VOLLRATH at the 2015 NRA Show
Sheboygan, Wis. (PRWEB) May 15, 2015 -- Driven by constant market demand for innovative products that help foodservice operators elevate guest experiences, the Vollrath Company, a foodservice industry leader in smallwares and equipment, will be showcasing new induction technology products at the EXPERIENCE VOLLRATH exhibit during the 2015 National Restaurant Association Show in Chicago, Ill., May 16-19.
New, updated and existing products that fit within the EXPERIENCE VOLLRATH concept will be on display at the company’s exhibit, booth #4021, during the 2015 NRA Show at the McCormick Place convention center. EXPERIENCE VOLLRATH is the company’s new focus on six of the key factors that elevate Vollrath products: ingenuity, elegance, convenience, fresh, customization and peace of mind.
“We’re putting a focus on the development of industry-first products that help today’s foodservice operators outperform,” said Paul Egbert, vice president of marketing at Vollrath. “The new Experience Vollrath concept focuses on the key areas of product differentiation that position us as a leader in the industry.”
Vollrath remains a top manufacturer of induction technology and continues to bring new and innovative products to the foodservice equipment market. Under the EXPERIENCE VOLLRATH theme, the company is putting a major emphasis on induction technology at the 2015 NRA Show by showcasing three of its newest products.
The Mirage® Buffet Induction Warmers—the second induction warming product Vollrath has brought to market after last year’s first-to-market Induction Soup Warmers—provide best-in-class features, including consistent temperature control, interconnectivity of up to three units, low wattage power use and touch control with four power settings and LED indicator lights on the control panel and glass. All of these features come in a subtle, low-profile, attractive design that integrates seamlessly with any serving set-up to elevate the appeal of the buffet ware and food.
Jack Delby, executive chef of the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center Hotel, was an early adopter of the Mirage® Buffet Induction Warmers. “We’ve been using the warmers in our exclusive Concierge Lounge where we feed anywhere from 100-300 guests daily,” said Delby. “We have a limited power supply in the area so the fact that the warmers draw very little power and can be interconnected is especially important to us. They also keep a consistent temperature unlike the butane stoves we used previously. This provides much higher food quality for guests and a much better yield,” he added. “Plus, the seamless look of the warmers provides a stylish display which is important to our fashion-forward hotel company.”
According to Brian Hedlund, director of category management, Vollrath continues to focus on creating top-of-the-line equipment featuring induction technology that is functional, efficient and necessary. As customers continue to look at induction cooking and warming for increased efficiency, cost savings and more, Vollrath’s products are proving to be the go-to solution. “Our induction products, like the Mirage® Buffet Induction Warmers, are helping foodservice operators create unique experiences for their guests while improving their bottom line,” said Hedlund. “Our leadership in induction cooking and warming is becoming more and more evident as we continue to introduce new and innovative ways to apply the technology to improve results for operators.”
Foodservice operators can find a wealth of information about induction technology on the company’s Vollrath University website including a full video library about how and why induction works, best application methods, cooking demonstrations and more.
Another of Vollrath’s innovative induction products that will be showcased is the Induction Wok Range. The Induction Wok combines the high-efficiency benefit of induction technology with the performance of its gas counterpart. With 100 power settings and a turbo button for immediate, fast heat, the Induction Wok offers precise cooking control.
Also featured at the show again this year will be the newly certified Downdraft Vent Module, a first-to-the-market, front-of-the-house cooking station with fire suppression and containment that meets UL, NSF, NFPA96 and EPA Method 202 requirements. Winner of the 2014 Kitchen Innovations Award(s), the Downdraft Vent Module offers up to two energy-efficient induction cooktops that include a downdraft venting system. These features are housed in either a Vollrath V-Class or Signature Server® base and are available in several countertop options, including stainless steel, custom color laminate, Corian® solid surface or quartz.
Additional Vollrath Products at NRA
Continuing the EXPERIENCE VOLLRATH concept are two additional products that will be featured heavily during the 2015 NRA Show, including the Forced-Air Cold Modular Drop-Ins and the new and improved LidSaver™ 2 Dispensers.
Vollrath’s Forced-Air Cold Modular Drop-ins are a perfect addition for showcasing and serving cold foods. The dual-sided forced air cold system creates a more uniform distribution of cold air to prevent freezing and food waste while maintaining the fresh appeal and vibrant colors of salads and other cold menu items. It features low velocity air and an above-counter intake and also works well with other Vollrath drop-ins.
Additionally, the Vollrath Company will feature the LidSaver™ 2 Dispensers. These new and improved dispensers offer a stylish and attractive design with a smaller footprint that frees up valuable counter space. The LidSaver™ 2 Dispensers feature overload protection to prevent lids from sticking together. Other benefits include increased cost savings due to fewer wasted lids and reduced cleanup from rejected lids as well as the ability to dispense soda, coffee and domed lids from 3 ¼” – 4 ¾”.
The LidSaver™ 2 Dispensers are also very hygienic. Vollrath’s dispensing system reduces excess handling, eliminating contamination. The simple-to-use dispensers allow customers to easily apply lids with one hand. All of this ensures clean and clutter-free operation.
In addition, Vollrath Company will have several other new and existing products on display as part of the EXPERIENCE VOLLRATH exhibit. The 2015 NRA Show will take place from May 16-19 at McCormick Place in Chicago, Ill. For more information on Vollrath’s product offerings, visit http://www.vollrath.com.
