The Fourth of July holiday is well-celebrated in Pensacola with packed crowds downtown at the annual Sertoma Celebration. Take the whole family downtown to celebrate the Fourth of July with a day full of games, arts and crafts vendors, hot-dog eating contests, live entertainment and music followed by a dazzling nighttime fireworks display over Pensacola Bay. Deemed the largest fireworks display on the Gulf Coast, the pyrotechnics show is synchronized to music broadcast over the radio.
Red, White and Blues Pensacola Beach Airshow
July 4-11
The week begins with a bang on the Fourth of July with a dazzling fireworks display over the Pensacola Beach sound. A few days later, the Blues take over the skyline. The Blue Angels Pensacola Beach Air Show is one of the most popular on their schedule, bringing thousands to the beach to watch the Navy’s prestigious flight demonstration squadron show off their skills and aeronautic acrobatics.
Gulf Coast Summer Fest

Get ready for 12-plus hours of non-stop music at the 2015 Gulf Coast Summer Fest. This year the annual all-day music party moves indoors to the Pensacola Bay Center. Summer Fest celebrates R&B, Jazz, and Southern Soul Blues music and brings in artists from all over the country. Stay tuned for the announcement of this year's artists.
Taste of the Beach

One of the area’s favorite culinary events, the 2015 Taste of the Beach festival will feature New Orleans Chef John Besh as this year’s celebrity chef, a VIP party, cooking demonstrations and food samplings from Pensacola’s finest chefs who showcase their favorite coastal cuisine.
Perdido Key Pirate Festival
September 19
The 3rd annual Perdido Key Pirate Festival will be held on Saturday, Sept. 19, International Talk Like A Pirate Day! The family-friendly event features fun activities for all ages. It has shopping vendors, treasure hunts, pirate music and dancing, prizes, and delicious food. The event will be held at Big Lagoon State Park, located off Gulf Beach Highway in Perdido Key, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
