The hotels chosen for Dittman’s programs have to be special; creating a warm, welcoming environment, and making the guests feel like the VIPs that they are. A participant on one of the trips to the Fairmont Scottsdale praised the hotel by saying, “Service was fantastic, the resort was outstanding (clean, updated, best fitness center I've seen at a hotel), and every detail was well organized. Love it.”
The hotel displayed their high-level of service on one trip, specifically. With a three hour time change from their home city, the majority of the guests were arriving before noon when check-in was 3pm. The hotel worked hard to turn over the rooms in time to allow check-in before the General Session began. Over 95% of the rooms were ready before noon, after a very full house the night before.
Rome and Venice-based DMC Italia Connection helped execute tricky logistics during one of Dittman’s complex trips. A major electrical supply company rewarded their best customers with a trip for two nights to Venice then on a 7-day cruise of the Greek Isles. Since the only form of transportation in the city of Venice is by water, moving 550 attendees in seamless style by boat from the airport to the hotel was where Italia Connection really went above and beyond.
Participants arrived on flights from all over the USA. Italia Connection, under the supervision of President/Owner Alberto Neri, retrieved all participants’ luggage (over 1,300 bags), tracked down delayed items, and transferred them all to two separate luxury hotels for when guests arrived – all by boat. On their way home, with different departures and post extensions, no attendee missed their flight despite significant time constraints between the ship’s docking and flyer departures.
Italia Connection worked with Dittman to make sure all of the excursions in Venice ran smoothly as well. The DMC managed all attendees on their custom excursions of Venice, including gondola rides for everyone. The Dittman Difference ensured there were no more than 16 guests per guide.
