Our water solutions help provide oilfield workers with a clean and reliable source of water.
San Antonio, Texas (PRWEB) May 13, 2015
WaterFleet, LLC, a San Antonio-based potable water service company, announced that its CEO, Alan Pyle, will present at the 2015 IADC Drilling Onshore Conference in Houston.
WaterFleet provides on-site potable water production and wastewater treatment to temporary housing at drill sites and related camps.
Its services help improve the quality of life for the men and women who work at drilling and completion operation sites, provide multiple positive community and environmental improvements, and reduce total cost of operations by up to 20%. Its core products include: The WaterRig, a trailer-installed water and ice production system that can use any on-site power and water to produce a high quality potable water supply at virtually any remote location; The ReclaimerRig, a trailer-installed domestic wastewater processing system that converts domestic wastewater into recycled water that may be returned to the environment or used on-site; and The Jumper Rig, a trailer-mounted pressurized potable water and domestic wastewater solution for short-term usage.
Pyle, who serves as President and CEO of Steelhead, Inc. for the last 23 years founded WaterFleet in January 2014 and brings his expansive industry knowledge to the stage. His expertise includes mechanical design, process development and design, electrical and electronic design and programming, as well as manufacturing process management. His presentation will examine the current industry standard set-up and the improvements the WaterFleet system brings, including a dynamic case study from BHP Billiton.
"When BHP Billiton formed a task force to uncover alternative ways to manage water and sewer services, two of the primary issues were: compliance issues from not having potable water readily available at drilling sites and the high expense of sewer collection and haul off," said Pyle.
He continued, "These issues just scratched the surface. The task force identified WaterFleet as its turnkey solution to water operations. Our water solutions help provide oilfield workers with a clean and reliable source of water. We've done this, while at the same time saving our clients money."
Pyle will present to conference guests on Thursday, May 14 at 10:30am. The session will be chaired by Mike Garvin, IADC Division VP-Onshore.
