Durham, NC (PRWEB) May 14, 2015
Bronto Software, the leader of commerce marketing automation, was recognized as a Key Volunteer of the Year in the Corporate/Business category at the 2015 Governor’s Volunteer Service Awards Luncheon in Durham, NC. First recognized by the Office of the Governor in 1979, this statewide program honors the true spirit of volunteerism and recognizes individuals, groups, and businesses that make a significant contribution to their community through volunteer service.
The Key Volunteer of the Year program is an important part of the history and tradition of volunteerism in North Carolina communities. This year, 104 nominees were chosen by 35 agencies as “Key” Volunteers, representing the best of volunteerism in the Greater Triangle Community. Of these nominees, 12 winners were selected as Key Volunteers of the Year for their respective category. The Corporate/Business category specifically honors a corporation/business that has made a substantial impact in the community by engaging employees in volunteering activities and providing paid time for employees to volunteer.
“We are very proud that our commitment to volunteerism is recognized,” said Joe Colopy, CEO of Bronto Software. “Bronto has always carried the value of giving back.”
