Retail fulfillment solution recognized for its ability to bridge the $1 trillion gap between online and in store.

POPcodes, an online to in-store promotion tracking and purchase fulfillment solution, has been named a finalist for the Retail Council of Canada’s ReBoot Challenge. The finalists will be showcased at STORE 2015, Canada’s largest retail conference, held June 2-3 at the Toronto Congress Center in Toronto.

POPcodes is one of only 10 Canadian start-ups selected to present their solutions to retailers from across Canada. The finalists, judged by a panel of retail industry leaders, were determined based on the strength and creativity of the application and potential to transform the retail experience. The top four, which have yet to be determined, will present on the main stage to an audience of nearly 2,000 retail industry leaders.

“It is a great honor to be named a finalist in RCC’s ReBoot Challenge,” said Gregg Aamoth, CEO of POPcodes. “POPcodes fills an important need in omnichannel retail, bridging the $1 trillion gap created as consumers start their path to purchase online and then complete it in their local stores. We are thrilled to be recognized as a disruptor in the industry, while providing both a customer-centric and merchant-friendly application.”

POPcodes will be demonstrating real-world examples of how to create a seamless and frictionless shopping experience, broadcasting offers through iSIGN Media’s patented Smart Antenna to invite attendees to redeem them at their booth. This will serve as a live demonstration of how POPcodes and iSIGN can combine to close the loop on promotions delivered to mobile devices, from offer through to redemption.

“The POPcodes solution offers something the industry has been chasing for years—real-time confirmation of consumers’ actions,” explains Aamoth. “We enable tracking and control of the redemption of omnichannel promotions and fulfilment of online purchases at the point of sale – down to the last metre, not just the last mile.”
