Greenberg Traurig’s Daniel Serota Named 2015 “Rising Star” by New York Law Journal
NEW YORK (PRWEB) May 13, 2015 -- Daniel Serota, a Corporate & Securities shareholder in the New York office of international law firm Greenberg Traurig LLP, has been named one of the New York Law Journal’s 2015 “Rising Stars.”
Serota is one of 50 lawyers under the age of 40 chosen by a panel of 24 esteemed judges for the distinction. The judges reviewed over 300 nominations of attorneys who have established a record of accomplishments and demonstrated that they are top contributors to the practice of law and their communities.
Serota has previously been recognized by The M&A Advisor as one of its “40 under 40” legal advisors in 2014 as well as in The New York Times in their article titled, “The Facebook of Wall Street’s Future” in 2007.
He concentrates his practice on mergers and acquisitions. He regularly provides counsel for complex auctions, mergers, stock and asset purchases, hostile offers, joint ventures, proxy contest, and transactions in bankruptcy or with distressed entities. He advises clients in a wide array of industries, with a particular emphasis on technology, media and telecommunications, financial institutions, hospitality, and retail.
