With a new community program in the Maryland area, Vendt Brothers Insurance announced a new charity campaign to raise funds to support Mariama Tunkara, a local varsity basketball and cheerleader. Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School representatives see Mariama as one of the most exceptional students who have attended B-CC. Mariama has possessed leadership and mentorship qualities at her school. She will be heading to Towson University this fall and Vendt Brothers Insurance Agency wants to supply her with the necessary tools to help her continue excelling in her studies. Donations to Mariama can now be made through the campaign’s page at http://www.vendtbrothersinsurance.com/Help-An-All-Star-Rise-In-College_17_community_cause.

Utilizing its own resources and seeking the help of its own network of customers and business partners, Vendt Brothers Insurance marches on to ensure customers, friends, family and neighbors are always in good hands. The agency just recently launched the master charity program of which the current campaign is part of, electing every 60 days a new individual, organization or family in need to receive support.

“Mariama’s discipline to arrive early at school every day and to stay late to remain on top of her studies is impressive. We have no doubt that she will continue to excel in her studies at Towson. We want to reward this remarkable teenager by raising funds to cover the expenses of a laptop and other essential supplies for college,” said Kevin Vendt, one of the Agency’s principals.

The agency will promote the current campaign over the course of the next 45 days, through its social media channels, email and text message communications, as well as through a monthly magazine, delivered to thousands of households in Maryland, where the agency currently operates. Our Hometown magazine reserves a full page to feature the campaign and details of the cause. The electronic Flipbook version of the current issue can be accessed here: http://www.vendtbrothersinsurance.com/Our-Hometown-Magazine_41
