Ashley Furniture HomeStores of Metro New York and New Jersey Delivered Sleep to Former Avalon at Edgewater Residents
Edison, NJ (PRWEB) May 28, 2015 -- Factory Direct Enterprises LLC, a licensee of Ashley Furniture HomeStore, surprised, delighted and delivered new Ashley Sleep mattress sets, bedding and frames to 14 youths displaced by the consuming January fires in the Avalon at Edgewater apartment complex. The fire, one of the biggest in the history of Bergen County, New Jersey, destroyed all 240 units leaving more than 500 people homeless and displacing many more.
“We cannot replace the homes lost by these residents, but we can help by giving them a good night’s sleep,” explained Eugene Chrinian, Chief Executive Officer of Factory Direct Enterprises, LLC. Chrinian continued, “This is just one example of our Hope to Dream program which engages our team members and customers to provide children in need with the necessary resources for a healthy night’s sleep. “
The deliveries took place on Wednesday, May 13 as a dedicated Ashley Furniture HomeStore truck delivered the complete youth beds to children in their current home. “Our Hope to Dream Agents will join the delivery team to meet the selected families and demonstrate our commitment to the communities we serve,” shared Janine Monize, the HomeStore’s Guest Experience Specialist.
