World’s #1 Rated Burlesque Performers Featured at “Brunchlesque! After Dark”
Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) May 14, 2015 -- On the eve of the world's largest annual burlesque festival, The Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekend, “Brunchlesque! After Dark – The Flash Before the Bash,” will offer a sneak preview of some of the world’s most highly-acclaimed and award-winning performers, including the UK’s #1 ranked burlesque performer, Aurora Galore, and 2014's Miss Burlesque Gold Coast, Dolly Cakes from Brisbane, Australia, Wednesday, June 3 at Boomer’s Bar. Ten performers from four continents will be on hand to offer burlesque performance in an intimate setting. This is a rare opportunity for burlesque fans to see world-class talent in an intimate venue, and a second chance for those who missed getting tickets to the sold-out Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekend. Tickets for general admission seats and VIP Tables are available via Brown Paper Tickets at Bad2.bpt.me, or by calling Brown Paper Tickets' 24/7 event concierges at 1-800-838-3006.
“The energy level in the room that night will be supercharged,” said “Bruchlesque!” producer Ricardo Montalbum. “It really is a rare treat to be able to have such fantastic overseas talent perform in such a small venue.”
In addition to performances by Aurora Galore and Dolly Cakes, Las Vegas’ Blue Ruin will present a deeply personal routine based around her recent medical issues. Also on the bill will be Brazil's top burlesque performer Sweetie Bird, from Sao Paulo, Brazil; Kitty Kin-Evil from Ottawa, Canada; Jenna Beth of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; Mercy Histrio from Albuquerque, NM; Audrey Ivory of Montreal, Canada and Drea Dillinger of Los Angeles, Calif.
In addition, to the lineup of international talent, Brunchlesque attendees will be served dessert. Food is a trademark of Ricardo Montalbum's “Brunchlesque!” productions, a self-described “gastro-exoctic burlesque revue” which typically take place on Sunday mornings with attendees enjoying a full brunch menu and drink specials while burlesque performers dance onstage.
Brown Paper Tickets, the preferred ticketing company for the burlesque industry, sells more tickets to burlesque events than any other in North America, including the Burlesque Hall of Fame and “Brunchlesque! After Dark – The Flash Before the Bash.” The Not-Just-For-Profit ticketing company recently co-created the burlesque industry's only award for show production excellence, The Brassy Award. Brown Paper Tickets also established a Burlesque Hall of Fame Fund, which raises money for the Las Vegas-based non-profit museum. The Burlesque Hall of Fame is dedicated to preserving the legacy of burlesque past and present, as well as hosting the world's biggest burlesque event, the Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekend, June 4-7 at The Orleans Casino.
Montalbum said, “Brown Paper Tickets is our ticketing company of choice, because they not only embrace the burlesque community, they support it in many ways, including the newly-instituted Brassy Award. Brown Paper Tickets is worry-free, as they have 24-hour live event concierges, and the lowest ticketing fee in the industry for the highest level of service.”
