Des Plaines, Ill. (PRWEB) May 18, 2015 -- At its Spring Business Meeting last month in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) elected its new officers for 2015-2016.
Immediate past president Kevin Anundson, MCR, CKBR, of Renovations Group Inc., Elm Grove, Wis., was named its Chairman of the Board and Judy Mozen, CR, GCP, of Handcrafted Homes, Inc., in Roswell, Ga., was named its President for the coming year. H. Dale Contant, MCR, CRPM, UDCP, of Atlanta Design & Build, Marietta, Ga., was elected to the office of President-Elect.
Anundson has served as the Association’s president for the past year and will now assume responsibilities as Chairman, while Mozen is planning to focus on recruiting and training a viable workforce through inclusion and diversity.
“I’m proud and honored to have the opportunity to help make NARI a stronger organization,” said Mozen. “I look forward to working with the Board, chapters and our members, to maintain our position as a leader in the remodeling industry and an essential resource for remodelers.”
The remaining officers, also elected and announced during the meeting, include: Treasurer Tom Miller, CR, CKBR, of Tom Miller Remodeling, Inc., Portland, Ore. and Secretary David R. Pekel, MCR, UDCP, CAPS, Pekel Construction & Remodeling, Wauwatosa, Wis.
