MPI, a business valuation and advisory firm, today announced that Daniel M. Kerrigan has been elected president of the company. Kerrigan succeeds Harry (Hal) L .Curtis, lll, who served as president since 2006. Curtis has been named Chairman Emeritus & Managing Director of MPI. The management succession process was initiated by Curtis last year and effectuated at the annual shareholder meeting last week.

With this event, as well as other personnel advancements in recent years, we are confident in our ability to smoothly transition to the next generation of corporate leadership,” stated Curtis. “In moving into a new role, I look forward to the opportunity to work more directly with our clients and to continue to provide guidance throughout our practice.”

Kerrigan is a CFA® charterholder and has an M.B.A. from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and a B.S. from The College of New Jersey. He has appeared as an expert witness in U.S. Tax Court and in other proceedings and has extensive experience in a wide range of industries. Kerrigan will continue to work directly with MPI’s clients and oversee MPI Securities’ corporate advisory and M&A practice.
