During Hearing Health Month this May, the National Basketball Retired Players Association and EarQ joined forces to educate millions about the importance of hearing better.

By working with some of basketball's greatest, we hope to inspire, educate, and empower more people to understand the power of hearing better.

To help reach the more than 30 million Americans with untreated hearing loss, the National Basketball Retired Players Association (NBRPA) and EarQ have teamed up to raise hearing loss awareness in a unique way.

The Hearing Health Month campaign features stories about NBA legends and their personal relationship with hearing loss, posts from NBA stars on Twitter promoting hearing health, public hearing aid giveaways, and much more.

Participating legends include 11-time NBA Championship winner Bill Russell, original Harlem Globetrotter Bobby Hunter, former LA Laker Cedric Ceballos, and former Knick Mike Glenn, among others.

“By working with some of basketball’s greatest, we hope to inspire, educate, and empower more people to understand the power of hearing better,” said Ed Keller, president of EarQ.
