The Dykes Agencies’ Community Program Introduces a New Charity Campaign in Georgia Bringing Awareness to Congenital Heart Defects and the Children’s Heart Foundation

Trailing its social responsibility and acting on its alleged mission to act as ‘agents of change’ in the communities where it is inserted, The Dykes Agencies selects another individual to benefit from their established Community Program in Georgia. The Children’s Heart Foundation will receive the proceeds raised by the agency with the help of outstanding customers, business partners, staff and friends in the name of Lily Granatelli, a 17-month-old girl who has a very rare Congenital Heart Defect.

The Dykes Agencies debuts the new charity campaign in its recognized Community Program in Georgia, and announces that will direct its efforts to raise funds for the Children’s Heart Foundation in the name of Lily Granatelli. Lily underwent open-heart surgery on May 1st and her parents, Mike and Shannon, have taken it upon themselves to bring awareness of the Children’s Heart Foundation. The Children’s Heart Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that funds the most promising research to advance the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of congenital heart defects. The organization has supported 30 research grants across the US totaling almost $2.5 million.

“Motivated by the needs of our children, we are committed to reaching the foundation’s goal: to bring health, hope and happiness to children impacted by congenital heart defects. The Children’s Heart Foundation is a remarkable organization and we are privileged to have join efforts with them so that one day we can find the answers to why congenital heart defects occur and learn how to prevent them,” said Debbie Dykes, the Agency’s principal. “Despite the tough times that Lily’s parents are going through, it is inspiring how devoted they are to helping not only their daughter, but other children suffering from CHD.”

Through the agency’s network of customers, business partners, friends, staff and family, the initiative to spread the word about Lily and the Children’s Heart Foundation need will also bring awareness about Congenital Heart Defects. The Dykes Agencies will employ its valuable resources and reach out to the community, appealing on behalf of the Granatelli family, so that awareness and funds can be raised and children’s lives can be saved. The campaign will be promoted over the course of the next 45 days, through the agency’s social media channels, email and text message communications, as well as through their monthly magazine, delivered to thousands of households in Georgia, where the agency currently operates. The Community Program held by The Dykes Agencies will continue to highlight and support people in need in their community. Every 30-90 days, a new campaign will be launched, in collaboration with local non-profits and community members.
