Mick Foster the new Autosmart franchisee for Hull tells us:
“I used to travel the length and breadth of the UK as a Steel Erector, a job that I really enjoyed. Unfortunately, back in 2008, I was made redundant when the company ceased trading. It wasn’t too long before I secured a well paid position as a Production Planner. Although it was a hands-on role, I really missed the day to day interaction with new people.
“I also had a long-held dream of being a business owner – many of my friends and family ran their own businesses and had taken that leap from employee to self-employment. I started to research flexible and affordable businesses with the potential for growth.
