Design+Build Group, LLC Announces Five New Hires on the Heels of Revenue Growth Figures
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (PRWEB) May 20, 2015 -- Design+Build Group, LLC, a downtown Oklahoma City-based General Contractor, announced today the hiring of five employees and its latest revenue growth.
Deemah Ramadan, managing partner, said the companies steady growth and project successes have driven the need to expand the Design+Build Group team.
“With revenues doubling year over year coupled with the opportunity to recruit this level of expertise from major construction companies, Design+Build Group will be able to expand our customer base as well as compete for large projects,” said Deemah Ramadan, managing partner. “We hope to expand into new markets in Oklahoma as well as other states and will look at international opportunities when the time is right.”
Ramadan said the typical project for Design+Build Group currently ranges between $1 and $10 million. She believes the new team members will add not only depth in work experience and clientele but breadth of knowledge to allow the company to bid much larger projects. Most recently, the company has started construction of the new downtown Oklahoma City Chase Bank. Other projects include the interior remodel of Carlisle Foods in Oklahoma City and completing a building interior remodel for the Chickasaw Nation in Ada. The company is also adding pre-engineered, multi-purpose buildings to its offered services.
Frank Falsarella joins the company as director of construction operations. He most recently served as superintendent at Manhattan Construction in Oklahoma City. Falsarella is a carpenter by trade and has 14 years of experience in the construction industry. Before Manhattan, he served as superintendent at J.E. Dunn Construction in Oklahoma City. He brings extensive knowledge and experience in medical facility construction. He will oversee all construction operations efforts and streamline processes for the company.
Rick Akram joins Design+Build Group as director of project development. He is a U.S. Army Veteran and has eight years’ experience in the Army Corp of Engineers. He most recently worked at Med Tech Construction out of Oklahoma City and Dallas. There he served as a commercial project manager and superintendent. Akram has more than two decades experience in commercial construction. His background includes President and owner of an Oklahoma-based construction company and before that served as vice president of operations at Allied Steel Buildings in Florida.
Brandi Blue will oversee contracts that involve purchasing equipment and materials for commercial construction projects. She has experience in engineering and testing soil, drilling, operational analysis and software design. She worked on large public projects in her last position as geotechnical engineer for a company in Oklahoma City.
Melissa Horne joins the company as executive assistant. She has extensive experience in business administration. She recently worked as an engineer administrative assistant at Devon Energy.
Rikki Reddick joins Design+Build Group as its accounting manager. She has almost a decade experience in finance and accounting, her most recent employer is Continental Resources where she worked as an Assistant Controller.
