The most obvious environmental issue which a faucet manufacturer can affect is the consumption of water and its purity.

Once again, MR Direct is demonstrating that it is willing to take the lead on environmental concerns while continuing to provide superior-quality products. Since its founding, MR Direct has been striving to design faucets which are not only attractive, affordable and durable; but also eco-friendly. The most obvious environmental issue which a faucet manufacturer can affect is the consumption of water and its purity. On both fronts, the success of MR Direct's efforts has recently been validated with certification of nearly all of its bathroom faucets by the EPAs WaterSense program. And, it is only a matter of time before the complete line of MR Direct faucets will be certified, as the balance are currently undergoing testing in the EPA labs.

In addition to several previously approved bathroom models; the 725 and 726 vessels, the 7042 and 754 double-handles, and the 706 wide-spread faucets are now certified. Not only can these models display the WaterSense label, but so can the entire line of distinctive MR Direct waterfall faucets. This means that all sixty-one glass, fifteen stone, and three bamboo waterfall designs, not only match their respective vessel basins, but also match the WaterSense criteria of being efficient in their use of water.

WaterSense is a voluntary partnership program created by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Its purpose is to protect the future of the nation's water supply by offering people a broad array of quality, water-efficient products. It follows that while the consumer is conserving water usage with a WaterSense labelled faucet, he will discover the further benefit of a lower monthly water bill as well. Additionally, because the construction of each MR Direct faucet includes a drilled core of solid brass, no lead is present to contaminate the water being supplied. Therefore, all faucets are compliant with the SDWA (Safe Drinking Water Act).

Participation in the WaterSense program is voluntary and MR Direct is proud to be involved. Further information on how MR Direct maintains an environment-friendly approach to its product development can be learned by visiting http://www.MRDirectint.com.
