All boaters are encouraged to take a course before taking to the water.
(PRWEB) May 16, 2015
During North American Safe Boating Awareness Week, May 16-22, 2015, the Canadian Safe Boating Council encourages boaters to voluntarily wear lifejackets and practice responsible boating, including taking a Transport Canada-approved boating safety course.
While boating safety courses are available year round, spikes in course registrations are typically observed in early spring and summer. All boaters are encouraged to take a course before taking to the water.
To take part in this campaign, Boat Ed® will be offering a 30% discount to all Canadian students who study and pass the online boater’s safety course during the week of May 16-22.
The Boat Ed® Canadian course is Transport Canada-approved and features interactive animations and exciting videos. With Boat Ed® you can work toward earning your Pleasure Craft Operator Card on any device with Internet capability. This includes smart phones, laptops, and desktop computers.
