Montreal, Canada (PRWEB) May 19, 2015
BUDGE STUDIOS™, one of the leading children’s app companies, introduces Budge Playgroup™, a program that uses focus groups to develop new iOS apps by inviting kids and parents to test and provide feedback. A first of its kind in the children’s app space, Budge Playgroup utilizes TestFlight to expand the app creation process and to involve thousands of families across the globe.
To debut the innovative program, Budge Studios invited families to playtest Caillou Search & Count, an engaging game of hidden objects and numbers that helps to develop important educational skills, such as observation and numeracy. Budge Playgroup participants were invited to experience the top-secret app on iPhone and iPad before its release, and to help shape the gameplay by providing feedback such as scene preferences, mechanics for the magnifying glass search tool, hints, and overall fun. Parents could also choose to have their kids’ names appear in the app credits!
“Budge Playgroup allows us to make better products by listening and applying feedback from the real families who use our apps every day,” says Michael Elman, Co-CEO and founding partner of Budge Studios. “Kids are intuitive, creative, and honest, so there’s no one better to help us make the best apps on the market than kids themselves.”
Budge Studios also introduces Budge Playgroup LIVE, where local kids are regularly invited to the Montreal-based studio to test the upcoming iOS apps and provide feedback in person. Budge Playgroup LIVE is an extension of Budge Playgroup, empowering kids to have an impact on the final app design.
Caillou Search & Count is available for free download from the App Store on iPhone and iPad or at http://www.AppStore.com
Budge Playgroup is open worldwide to parents or legal guardians of kids ages 2-10. For more details, and to register, visit http://www.budgestudios.ca/?p=playgroup.
