The AP Network Unveils New Conference Program for Fall 2015 AP & P2P Conference & Expo
Portland, ME (PRWEB) May 21, 2015 -- The AP Network is pleased to announce new program initiatives for America’s largest, most comprehensive event dedicated to Accounts Payable. The fall 2015 Accounts Payable & Procure-to-Pay Conference & Expo will take place October 25-28 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, NV.
New program initiatives for the 2015 conference include 5 learning categories in the form of conference tracks, session topics on P2P best practices and management skills, workshops covering staff management and performance issues, an AP and P2P executives’ panel session on proactive leadership, and bundle options for attendees to add workshops and certifications to their registrations at value pricing.
The AP & P2P Conference & Expo will also provide 60+ learning sessions, workshops, special features, best practices, case studies, networking, practical strategies, and regulatory updates for AP professionals. The conference program is designed to help AP professionals increase staff productivity, reduce operating costs, stay in compliance, prevent fraud, develop shared services, and find solutions for the toughest challenges in AP. More than 500 AP Managers, Analysts, Controllers, and Payable Specialists are expected to attend the conference.
“The conference program for fall 2015 is fine-tuned to hone in on the most timely and practical takeaways for corporate AP professionals,” said Brian Cuthbert, Executive Director of The AP Network (TAPN). “My personal favorites are the additions of ‘AP and P2P in the Hot Seat,’ where we’ll delve into the less favorable instances of audits and fraud, and the closing keynote from our very own Doug Sleeter, who will share his vision of future AP technology,” he added.
The conference will begin with a full day of workshops and AP Certifications on Sunday, October 25 to include Accounts Payable Manager (APM), Accounts Payable Specialist (APS), and Certified Payment Reporting Specialist (CPRS/1099) certifications; followed by two days including keynote presentations, customizable conference tracks, networking opportunities, and exhibitor/vendor hours. Additional AP Certification classes and workshops will again be offered following the conference on Wednesday, October 28.
