According to the class action lawsuit filed against Adecco USA, Inc., the company allegedly failed to provide their non-exempt employees paid on an hourly basis with thirty minute meal periods before the employees worked five hours. The penalty for failing to provide adequate and timely meal breaks is one hour of the employee's regular rate of pay under the California Labor Code.
The Complaint seeks an unspecified amount of damages for the putative class of all non-exempt employees employed by Adecco in California.
