Dramatic Cost Savings, Safer Products Coming For Boiler and Heat Exchanger Cleaning
Rochester Hills, MI (PRWEB) May 18, 2015 -- Technical Director Steven Buday and his team have been hard at work in the lab at Plymouth Technology. Steven and the technical team had set out to find a cheaper and safer option for customers in an evolving regulatory landscape for wastewater generated from manufacturing and food processing. The two options, SX 7112 and SX 7156, are used at one-third the concentration and are shipped non-hazardous, saving some plants hundreds of thousands of dollars in operating costs.
SX 7112 was created to penetrate and remove encrusted lime scale, rust, corrosion products, and dirt from water-wetted surfaces. The commercial and industrial solution is non-toxic, non-corrosive, non-flammable, and can be safely handled with minimal instruction. SX 7112 even has a pleasant scent to go along with its ability to keep industrial processes running optimally.
SX 7156 is a boiler, cooling tower, and process equipment cleaner specifically designed to effectively remove calcium based deposits. The 7156 cleaner performs like an acid, but has a minimal reaction with the base metal of the equipment being cleaned. Companies currently using SX 7156 have reported using one-third the concentration as compared to Nitric blender acids, adding up to nominal cost savings with the added bonus of a safer product.
