New York, NY (PRWEB) May 15, 2015
USO Operation That’s My Dress! will give female service members and spouses in New York City the chance to pick out a brand new gown or cocktail dress, from several of the most recognizable names in fashion: Sherri Hill, Ann Taylor and Ralph Lauren. This event will also feature a Beauty Bar with JTV jewelry and fashion accessories for participants to get a completely accessorized look from head to toe. USO Operation That’s My Dress! begins with a Fashion Show, featuring professional models showcasing evening/ formal wear by world class designers and entertainment by the USO Show Troupe. A Dress Expo, filled with hundreds of dress options, will open after the Fashion Show and the Miss USA and Miss Teen USA titleholders will pair up with female service members and spouses to help them find their perfect dress. During the Dress Expo, stylists will also be on hand providing hair and make-up demonstrations and consultations to give participants additional resources to help them feel confident and beautiful.
Female service members and spouses experience unique challenges related to military life with frequent moves, deployments, and adapting to new homes and communities. The Operation That’s My Dress! experience is just one of the many ways the USO makes every moment count for troops and their families.
