Ticket Down is a reputable source for authentic Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Atlanta Hawks Eastern Conference Finals tickets. The top two seeds in the Eastern Conference of the National Basketball Association will meet in the Eastern Conference Finals. The top seeded Atlanta Hawks will take on the second seeded Cleveland Cavaliers with the winner of this seven game series advancing to the NBA Finals. The Hawks will have the home court advantage in this series with games 1 and game being held at the Phillips Arena on May 20th and May 22nd. Games 3 and 4 will be held at the Quicken Loans Arena on May 24th and May 26th. Should the series need to go more than four games, Atlanta would host games 5 and 7, while the Cavaliers would host game 6.

For the Cavaliers, this is their first trip to the conference finals since the last season LeBron James played with the team of 2009-2010 and a win in this series would send them to their first NBA Finals since 2006-2007 when they lost to the San Antonio Spurs. For the Hawks fans this season marks the first time in history that they reached the eastern conference finals in franchise history. This beloved team also did well in 1970, however, miss the NBA finals by one series that year.

To get to this point for the Hawks, a lot of things needed to go right and they did throughout the regular season and the first two rounds of the playoffs. The Hawks handily won the top seed in the Eastern Conference after finishing with a 60-22 record. They didn’t play down the stretch like they did in January when they won every game they played in, but they still did enough to get past the Brooklyn Nets and Washington Wizards in six games. This postseason, it has been a new star each day leading the Hawks, as DeMarre Carroll has led the way in points per game at 16.4 while setting and breaking numerous career high point totals.

As soon as the Cavaliers signed James, their odds of advancing to and winning the NBA Finals increased drastically. They didn’t always look good this season, but after acquiring Timofey Mozgov and J.R. Smith, they were on another level and went 53-29 during the regular season. In the opening round of the playoffs, they swept the Boston Celtics in four games and knocked off the red-hot Chicago Bulls to reach this series. The Cavaliers have relied on James for most of the playoffs this season, but in the clincher against the Bulls, it was Matthew Dellavedova that led the way for them as James was ineffective, Kevin Love was out, and Kyrie Irving left after being injured.

During the the regular season the Hawks won the season series 3-1 so their fans will hope for more of the same, while fans of the Cavaliers will hope to see James take over the series. Only time will tell what this series will hold for the basketball world and fans of both squads.
