KSF Presents XXVI US Open Martial Arts Challenge with New K. Warrior 2015 at Mobile Convention Center
Mobile, AL (PRWEB) May 20, 2015 -- KSF (Kung Fu Sanshou Federation) presents the 26th US Open Martial Arts Challenge, featuring K. Warrior main event fights in search of the new K. Warrior 2015 at Mobile convention center in Mobile, AL on May 30, 2015. The event is sanctioned by SWF (Shaolin World Federation), sponsored by Shaolin Institute, Mobile Sports Authority along with many other organizations and individuals.
The 26th US Open Martial Arts Challenge will feature K. Warrior main event fights in search of the next new K. Warrior 2015. The daytime event, the US Open Martial Arts Challenge, will feature Kung Fu forms, weapons, Tai Chi forms and Push-Hands as well as choreographed fighting along with continuous fights; the nighttime main event will feature K. Warrior Search fighting for the next new K. Warrior.
This double header will be highlighting the ancient Chinese Kung Fu free fighting with extreme Kung Fu Sanda apart from the arts of novice Kung Fu Sanshou. As Grand Master Shi DeRu (AKA: Shawn X. Liu) expressed: "The US Open Martial Arts Challenge is providing not only the platform for Kung Fu martial artists, but also a great opportunity for many other styles of martial artists to perform their unique forms and weapons in various styles."
Since the early 1990s, Grand Master Shi Deru, has held over thirty US Opens and other international Sanshou/Sanda fighting events here in the US, including 8 professional “Art of War” Sanshou/Sanda tournaments, sponsored by Shaolin Institute.
The US Open Martial Arts Challenge event on May 30th, at the Mobile Convention Center will present many categories of weapons, light contact, continuous light sparring, and youth Kung Fu Sanshou. The night main event is certainly designed for Kung Fu free fighting fans.
"It's been 20 years since I hosted the first official US Open International Sanda/Sanshou fight in the US,” said Grand Master Shi DeRu. As a result, international fighters such as David Sander and Cung Le (https://cungle.tv/) have their fighting roots as champions within the US Open International Martial Arts competitions that were held right here in Mobile, AL.
Other fighters, who have won their championship titles at the US Open Martial Arts Challenge, K. Warrior competitions, or US Open International competitions are Patrick Barry and Melvin Guilard. Both became well known fighters in the UFC. These UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) and MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) fighters are among many other US Open event champions such as K. J. Noon, Li Jie and Wael Karika Muhammed who were students of Grand master Shi Deru and whose fighting skills were honed and matured in the US Open Kung Fu Sanshou/Sanda Challenge competitions.
In the same fashion as when the first US Open competition began, the upcoming K. Warrior Search and US Open Martial Arts Challenge event will have all the excitement of an MMA styled fight. Yet, the Kung Fu Sanshou/Extreme Sanda fighting styles will require the fighters to demonstrate a higher level of fighting skills by combining techniques of punching, kicking, kneeing, throwing, interception and grappling. Such technically skilled maneuvers as a “scissors kick” take down are just one of the exciting fighting techniques that the audience can witness first hand at the US Open Martial Arts Challenge and especially in Kung Fu Sanshou/Extreme Sanda competitions.
This event will not only be an exhilarating fight for an audience to see, but in the ring it will also allow martial artists of all styles, amateur or future professional competitors, from all over the world the opportunity to express and challenge themselves, and their skills, and acquire new friendships at the same time through sportsmanship.
The US Open Martial Arts Challenge will host all forms of Kung Fu, weapons and continuous fights starting at 1:00 PM at Mobile Convention Center, in Mobile, AL. The main event , the K. Warrior Search. and all advanced Kung Fu fights will not begin until 6:00 PM at night with doors opening at 6:00 PM.
