SPS Actively Participates in YAI Central Park Challenge as Part of Community Involvement Initiatives
New York, NY (PRWEB) May 19, 2015 -- Swiss Post Solutions (SPS), an innovative leader in business process outsourcing and digitization solutions, is proud to take an active role in the 2015 YAI Central Park Challenge in New York City. This year’s event, held on Saturday, June 6, is expected to draw over 12,000 participants who will walk or run in support of YAI, a non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring that people with disabilities live as independent and productive members of the community.
2015 marks the 30th year of the Central Park Challenge, and the fifth year that SPS employees and family members have participated and contributed to the success of the event. To date, participants have collectively raised millions of dollars to help fund YAI’s programs, with this year’s goal of reaching $2 million in donations.
Proceeds from the event benefit several of YAI’s programs and services, including the New York Learning (NYL) Harry H. Gordon School, adaptive physical education, and group homes, which provide residence for hundreds of disabled members of the local community.
