The Network, Inc., a leading provider of governance, risk and compliance (GRC) solutions, today announced the release of its new product, Agile Code of Conduct™.

The Agile Code of Conduct is a Web-based, responsive Code of Conduct experience that leverages all that Web technologies have to offer, such as rich media, interactivity, and a more user-centered experience, to bring an organization’s culture and values to life. Employees and other stakeholders can navigate it anyway they want, similar to how they navigate websites, as opposed to being restricted to reading it in a linear fashion, as they are with traditional Codes of Conduct. This means they can seamlessly navigate from Code principles to applicable policies to supporting resources to help them make the right decisions.

Because it is built on a Web platform, the Agile Code leverages interactive exercises like quizzes, games, decision trees and other activities, which increase engagement with the material. It is optimized for all devices and can also be quickly and easily updated with new content so companies can highlight important messages to align with ethics and compliance awareness initiatives. The Agile Code contains analytics, such as which areas of the Code are being viewed most frequently or which terms are most commonly searched, giving insight into areas where more training or resources may be required.

“The Agile Code is revolutionary. We’ve evolved the Code of Conduct in a way that aligns with the evolution of the ethics and compliance function,” said Luis Ramos, CEO of The Network. “Companies are embracing compliance as a marketing imperative; the key to a resilient corporate brand that can withstand reputational risk and create a competitive advantage. We built upon our 20 years of expertise in creating Codes of Conduct to innovate a solution that allows companies to use their Code as a marketing platform, not just as a beautifully branded expression of their culture and values, but an experience that employees and other stakeholders can engage with. It gives the ethics and compliance team insight into areas where potential knowledge gaps may exist in order to drive campaigns that increase comprehension as well as improve execution.”

“The Code of Conduct is a core component in our GRC product strategy and an area of the market place that we found in real need of innovation,” said Jimmy Lin, Vice President of Product Management and Corporate Strategy for The Network. “For our clients, the Agile Code has many functional and strategic advantages over a traditional Code of Conduct in a static format. But for us, it aligns perfectly with our strategy and mission: to give companies insight into the ethical health of their organizations and the flexibility to react to it. We are no longer limited by the constraints of traditional, fixed formats. Now, our imagination is the only limit.”

The Network has won 2 Gold Quill awards and 1 Silver Quill award for Codes of Conduct. You can request a demonstration of Agile Code or view The Network’s Code of Conduct portfolio at
