I am truly blessed that I am a scholarship recipient of the Miami Bayside Foundation. Now I have the opportunity to attend the school of my dreams and have the funding and support to pay for my schooling. - Jewly Fleurstil, Scholarship Recipient

The Miami Bayside Foundation has created scholarship endowments and created programs that will award many thousands of students with financial aid in years to come. On May 14, the Miami Bayside Foundation recognized this year’s scholarship recipients, City of Miami residents graduating from Miami-Dade County Public Schools and attending college in the fall. Miami Bayside Foundation scholarship programs have given students the opportunity to access resources that were not previously available to them. This is the second year of a multi-year scholarship program commitment made by Miami Bayside Foundation to the Miami-Dade Public School System.
The Miami Bayside Foundation, a City of Miami-based nonprofit established in 1986, has created and administers loan programs for City of Miami minority businesses, funds scholarship endowments and gifts programs for City of Miami minority students, and provides training and technical assistance to minority businesses in the City of Miami. The Foundation has awarded 462 scholarships to City of Miami minority students, funded thirty-three loans creating more than 200 jobs in the City of Miami, and created partnerships that have helped train more than 100 City of Miami minority business owners.
