Mendham, NJ (PRWEB) May 19, 2015
Steve Jolley, CEO and founder of SJ Pharma Consulting, is excited to announce a new course covering signal detection and pharmacovigilance training.
The EU pharmacovigilance standards which went into effect in 2012 have now been mostly implemented. This legislation was passed in an effort to reduce the roughly 200,000 deaths in the EU per year due to drug side effects. The legislation makes the regulatory requirements for medicines in the EU both stricter and more time consuming once they have been approved for marketing. Besides the normal approval process, companies must comply with mandatory requirements for signal detection, management and tracking; they must create and follow risk management plans for all new products; and they need to prepare periodic benefit risk reports. With all of these rigorous changes now implemented, making sure your company is properly trained to pass through them without hitting unexpected snags is paramount.
Steve Jolley is excited to announce SJ Pharma Consulting will be holding a number of courses including but not limited to Signal Detection and Pharmacovigilance, and Introduction to Drug safety: U.S. and EU requirements. The signaling course will cover:
- Signal detection
- Signal strengthening
- Signal management
- Ongoing surveillance
- Developing and managing product safety profiles
- Risk assessment.
SJ Pharma demonstrates an intuitive approach to Signaling and Data Mining using visualization techniques. This is the perfect opportunity for any life sciences firms that are seeking to improve their knowledge and understanding in the field. Class size is limited so the sooner interested participants sign up the better in order to guarantee they have a seat.
