Bobby Sam, the mastermind behind Transylvania Slayer Con, is developing a whole new convention development style that will reshape how people see conventions and what they can expect from them. Transylvania Slayer Con is looking to return the focus of conventions back to the attendees and away from the perennial vendors and talent which show up at nearly every Comic Con convention. While there will still be space for vendors and talent will still be plentiful the level of interaction with attendees will be markedly higher. Unlike other conventions where people stand in line a majority of their time just to receive an autograph, Transylvania Slayer Con will afford people the opportunity to get photos with their favorite stars and actually ask questions.
Transylvania Slayer Con will have an attraction called Project X5-578 which is a real life simulator for attendees. The simulation will put participants through a brief training session preparing them for zombie outbreak and then they will have to try and survive the zombie onslaught. The convention's aims are to help bring the communities of sci-fi and horror together and make people feel more involved with the entire convention. Lately Comic Con has become overly commercialized and this has left many people disappointed and unenthusiastic. Transylvania Slayer con will also be supporting and encourages people to Cosplay.
About Transylvania Slayer Con:
Transylvania Slayer Con will be held at the Convention Center in Tinley Park, Illinois on December 4th, 5th and 6th. The convention will host talent from many famous horror and sci-fi TV shows and movies. The cost for vendors will be far less than it would be at Comic Con and Cosplay will still be allowed which has been banned at some conventions. If you're looking for one convention that is a must sign up for on your list then this is the convention to go to.
