‘Broadway at the W’ Opens at W Hollywood June 12
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) May 26, 2015 -- On June 12, musical theater revue show 'Broadway at the W' opens at The Loft at W Hollywood, formerly Drai’s Hollywood. Broadway actors, dancers and producers from Tony-Award winning and fan-favorite shows including “South Pacific,” “The Producers,” “The Book of Mormon,” “Motown the Musical” and “Les Misérables” have assembled the highest caliber of Los Angeles-based Broadway performers to offer Angelenos an intimate and heart-stopping taste of Broadway. Tickets start at $10. The show features a live band, rotating program and special celebrity guests. The producers intend to continue the show on a weekly basis at W Hollywood.
“I moved to Los Angeles years ago after starting my career on the Broadway stage,” said Hawks, who produces and stars in 'Broadway at the W'. “So many of my Broadway colleagues have moved to LA, but they miss singing. I miss singing. This show was created as both an artistic outlet, and also our way of reaching all the musical theater lovers in LA who want to see the best of the best.”
“We know NY is the hub for musical theatre but we want there to be more LA venues for lovers of Broadway,” said Tiffany Evariste, producer of 'Broadway at the W.' “With this show and the possibility of being able to change casts, themes, and material, we feel like it can serve as a great outlet for Los Angeles musical theater performers and audiences. And we love the upscale, sophisticated and intimate environment at The Loft at W Hollywood.”
