VideoAmp Expands Executive Team, Appoints Jay Prasad Chief Business Officer
Santa Monica, Calif. (PRWEB) May 19, 2015 -- VideoAmp, a software and data platform for TV and video marketers, today appointed Jay Prasad as the company’s first Chief Business Officer, a position created to build the market facing teams for the company. Prasad previously served as vice president of global business development at TubeMogul. At VideoAmp, Prasad will have wide-ranging impact on strategy and building an experienced team.

In this newly created role, Prasad will lead the strategy and hiring of leaders across several market facing functions.
Prasad joins VideoAmp from TubeMogul, where he was the vice president of global business development, leading the partnerships with TV broadcasters, programmatic supply and data providers. There he led the team managing hundreds of partnerships across U.S., EMEA, APAC and LATAM. He was also there during run up to the company’s IPO. Prior to TubeMogul, Prasad held strategic business development and management roles at Yahoo!, FreeWheel (a Comcast company), and started his career in consulting at Ernst & Young.
Prasad earned his BBA in Marketing, International Business, and Risk Management from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and studied International Business and International Political Economics at the London Business School.
VideoAmp launched in December 2014 with $2.2 million in funding from Anthem Venture Partners, Simon Equity Partners, Third Wave Capital, Wavemaker Partners and ZenShin Capital.
