Dog owners have given their stamp of approval to The Resort at Port Ludlow, which has been recognized by the pet travel experts at as a 2015 Fido’s Favorite Award winner. The annual award recognizes hotels, inns, and bed & breakfasts that achieve superior pet-friendliness ratings from BringFido’s 12 million annual viewers. Fewer than 10% of all pet friendly accommodations can claim this distinction.

As the world’s leading pet friendly website and app, BringFido is committed to helping pet owners find accommodations that are truly welcome and cater to the needs of a man’s best friend. The company relies on its website visitors and app users to rate properties on a 1 to 5 “dog bone” scale. Only 4-bone or higher rated properties are eligible for a Fido’s Favorite Award.

“We love our “pet guests” and take care to ensure they have a pleasant visit.  This begins with a welcome – that is their name on the VIP (Very Important Pet) Board at the Front Desk.  They are then greeted with “doggie treats” – hand-crafted, all natural (heavy on the bacon) treats and are greeted by name (just like all of our other guests),” said Debbie Wardrop, General Manager of the Resort at Port Ludlow.
