Steven B. Andreaus attended the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry’s (AACD) 31st Annual Scientific Session, in San Francisco from Wednesday, May 6 – Saturday, May 9, 2015. The AACD is the world’s largest international dental organization dedicated to advancing excellence in the art and science of cosmetic dentistry through responsible esthetics, of which Dr. Andreaus is an active member.

The conference featured more than 48 hands-on workshops, 85 lectures, and 100 speakers. Roughly 2,000 dental professionals attended the event, which is geared toward dentists, lab technicians, hygienists, and dental team members to help them refine their skills, learn the latest techniques, and share ideas.

AACD President Jim Hastings, DDS, emphasized that the 2015 educational lineup was second to none and that “Spending time with colleagues at meetings such as AACD 2015 can give you a new perspective on cosmetic dentistry that you may not find at any other dental meeting.” Without a doubt, the AACD 31st Annual Scientific Session delivered cutting edge education and new perspectives.

Attendees had the opportunity to attend several continuing education courses throughout the meeting to learn more about cosmetic dentistry. They also received continuing education credits for their participation in these courses. The AACD is a recognized credit provider for the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the National Association of Dental Laboratories.
