11th Annual Dump & Donate Day is a No-Cost Waste Disposal Event for Colorado Springs Residents
Colorado Springs, Co. (PRWEB) May 20, 2015 -- Harris Group Realty Inc. and North American Title Co. have teamed up to host the 11th annual Dump & Donate Day, a free event for residents in Colorado Springs. The event will be held on Saturday, June 6, from 9 a.m. to noon, at the Coronado High School parking lot at 1590 W. Fillmore St.
“This event is a wonderful opportunity for our area residents to clean out their homes and garages, and to clear their property of landscaping debris,” said Natalie Koonce, vice president, Southern Colorado manager, North American Title Co. “We are proud to work with Harris Group Realty and all of our other partners to provide these free and low-cost services.”
Dump & Donate Day will offer dumpsters for waste and garbage as well as on-site paper shredding. The Colorado Springs Fire Department will take tree branches up to 9 inches in diameter for chipping. El Paso County will be on hand to collect items such as hazardous waste, paints, lawn and garden liquids and other products, automotive liquids, batteries, and medical waste such as pills and liquids.
Unwanted household items can be donated to Springs Rescue Mission, and donations of cash or checks will also be accepted for the nonprofit organization. Colorado Mattress Recyclers will be on hand to collect unwanted appliances, electronics and household machines such as vacuum cleaners. They will also accept mattresses, box springs, couches, chairs and TVs for a fee.
