Applied Systems today announced that Allianz Insurance has expanded its Commercial Lines product offerings through Applied TAM, the most widely used brokerage management system in the world. Through this agreement, all Applied TAM UK users will now have access to Allianz’s Property Owners, Tradesman, and Shop and Office products via the iMarket system in 2015.

“To meet today’s consumer demands and maintain a competitive advantage in the marketplace, we are keenly focused on delivering tailored products and services through multiple distribution channels by protecting the customer journey,” said David Martin, director of SME markets for Allianz Insurance. “Through Applied TAM, we continue to automate client portfolio management with our brokers, delivering seamless communication between our brokers and clients to enable us to properly manage client policies and claims in a more productive and consistent manner, as well as drive overall business growth.”

Applied TAM allows brokerages to automate daily operational processes, client policy information, and insurer connectivity, enabling users to be more productive and focus on the core business of selling insurance and servicing their insured. Through an automated and easy-to-navigate interface, Applied TAM provides deep visibility into day-to-day brokerage operations to reduce time spent on administrative tasks, decrease errors and omission risk, provide a seamless employee onboarding and training experience, and better respond to client needs. Applied TAM automates business operations for more independent insurance brokerages than any other brokerage management system.

“Evolving consumer demand and consolidation in the UK insurance industry are requiring increased connectivity and information exchange between insurers and independent brokerages,” said Jeff Purdy, senior vice president of International Operations, Applied Systems. “The expansion of Allianz’s SME product offering through Applied TAM further underscores Applied’s commitment to extending our Commercial Lines panel, ensuring our brokers have access to a wide range of products and services that address the individual needs of their clients.”
