WSI, the B2B division of The Weather Company, is partnering with Boston-based digital agency iMarc on a strategic website redesign. As the leader in meteorology technology, WSI is looking to design and develop a solutions-oriented website to attract new clients and industries, demonstrate thought leadership and expertise, capture leads and drive sales with its target audience. To meet WSI’s condensed timeframe, iMarc is utilizing an agile, multi-phased approach to deliver WSI with both a short and long-term solution.

The first phase of the project, which kicked off in March, consisted of a visual design refresh to streamline the website to promote and support WSI’s strategic partnership with IBM to bring advanced weather insights to business. Following the refresh, iMarc provided WSI with phase 2 enhancements throughout the site, including increased administrative control through the Content Management System (CMS), additional functionality and updates to the WSI blog and news section.
The current, and final, phase of the project will be a structural redesign to improve the overall user experience, extend the visual design throughout the site and drive engagement and leads. iMarc’s CTO and WSI Project Manager, Dave Tufts, explains, “This agile approach means iMarc is delivering value for WSI early and often. But we’re most excited about this next phase, which builds upon previous work and will ultimately result in a user-focused and timeless site for WSI.”
