Ben C. Lang II, owner, operator and inventor of Lang BBQ Smokers® is pleased to announce that the next Q-School is scheduled for June 12-13, 2015 at the Lang BBQ Smokers® Kitchen located at 4649 Main Street, Hoboken, Georgia. Q-School participants will learn how to barbecue on a smoker cooker. Classes include live barbecuing demonstrations from world-class champions and hands-on training on how to select the best cut of meat, as well as how to prepare, cook and finish beef and pork on a Lang BBQ Smoker®. Class size is limited to enhance the experience for each attendee.
Participants can attend Q-School for one or both days from 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM. The program on Friday, June 12 “Whole Hog Cooking from Start to End” will feature a demonstration of how to prepare and smoke a hog using a flavor profile and no nonsense recipe. Then on Saturday, June 13, participants will learn how to barbecue like a champion in “Competition Cooking.” Demonstrations and instructions on the preparation, flavor profile and presentation of championship beef brisket, pork, ribs, pork butts and chicken will be given.

Award winning chef Lynnae Oxley will share her barbeque secrets at Q-School using the smoker cooker that helped to make her famous – Lang’s 84” model. This class will feature rubs, injections and sauces from her personal collection of award winning barbecue recipes. Oxley is the owner and pitmaster of Sugar's Barbecue & Catering in Portland, OR. She has won numerous awards as the lead pitmaster on Sugar's BBQ, an award winning barbecue cooking team. Oxley has won 10 Grand Championship and seven Reserve Grand Championship titles. She has appeared on television barbecuing on an 84" Lang BBQ Smoker® in Season Four of Destination America’s BBQ Pitmasters. Oxley will be on Season Six of BBQ Pitmasters All Stars which will begin on May 28, 2015 on Destination America.
