The design team at SandOut Shoes (a loving parent, Artist and inventor, an American Filmmaker, and a merchant living on the sandy shores of Tahiti), have designed the first pair of shoes that filter sand from the inside out and channel sand back out as quickly as kids can fill them. Chi Huynh, head of Sandout and award winning designer, explains, “Every 10 minutes I was emptying my crying son’s shoes so he could go back out and play. My wife could no longer stand all the complaints of sand hurting our children's feet and she was more than over all the sand in our car… technology and design help in so many areas of our life, how could this be the best shoes the world could offer our children.”
So Chi spent the next six years designing and forming relationships with manufacturers of some of the world’s most famous brands to create SandOut Shoes.
In addition to managing sand, the bright and colorful line of SandOut Shoes drain water and provide an active ventilation system, which keeps kid’s feet and shoes dry and smelling fresh.
