African American Male Delivers Transforming Economic Language Skills to Investment Business in China according to Hudson Flynt, Monster Marketers.

During his two-month visit, Mr. White’s plans include working for one of the first companies in China after the formation of the EB-5 program. What's more, Eric is no stranger to China. In April 2011, at the age of 17, Eric was invited by the Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science, and Technology orchestra to translate for students playing at the Yangzhou University concert in Yangzhou, China. This 11-day trip included other translation stops to Shanghai, Beijing, and the Great Wall of China. According to US News and World Report’s website, Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science, and Technology is ranked 1st within Georgia where Eric graduated in 2012.
Eric White was asked to explain how his translation skills would be used while interning with Pearl Bay. He describes, “Chinese speaking natives once translated a menu item known for its delectable taste as ‘burnt corpse of a waterfowl’. He continues, “Although this translation is technically accurate, patrons from America would prefer to read on the menu ‘roast duck’ instead”.
After arriving in China, Mr. White added that his assignment is to accurately translate Mandarin to American English and vice versa with a content focus of grammatical differences, cultural sensitivities and stylistic preferences. He also mentioned that China's Special Economic Zones (SEZs) in Shanghai, Zhuhai, and Shenzhen are hubs of the largest amount of venture capital funding outside of the United States and are set to eclipse domestic investment in venture capital by 2020.
