ExpenseWatch customers can now easily create and submit expense reports, and approve spending from their smartphones with the new ExpenseWatch Mobile App unveiled by the company today.

“We’ve completely redesigned our ExpenseWatch Mobile App to support our customers’ expanded use of smartphones for day-to-day business,” said Bill Vergantino, president and CEO of ExpenseWatch. “Our new mobile app is so powerful and feature rich, we expect many of our customers will use it exclusively to submit expense reports and approve spending transactions, without ever logging into our online ExpenseWatch system.

“Managing receipts while on the road is often a trouble spot for traveling employees,” Vergantino continued. “Our new rapid-fire receipt capture lets customers quickly snap pictures of receipts and upload them to the ExpenseWatch receipt queue to use at a later time, independent of whether they or someone they delegate to create their expense reports use the online system or mobile app to build expense reports.”

Customers will use ExpenseWatch Mobile App for three primary purposes.

  •     Rapid-fire receipt capture: Easily capture and upload receipts to an ExpenseWatch receipt queue to use when building expense reports with the mobile app or the online system.
  •     Create, view, edit and submit expense reports for approval: Multiple options to build reports include integrated personal and corporate credit card charges, assigned travel itineraries, uploaded receipts and the ability to build a line from scratch for cash-out-of-pocket spending.
  •     Approve spending transactions: using the integrated mobile approval tools, easily approve any spending transaction type, including expense reports, purchase requisitions and payable invoices.

ExpenseWatch Mobile App is an extension of the online ExpenseWatch spend control system for customers with an active subscription. It can be downloaded from the iTunes App Store for iPhone users and Google Play for Android smartphone users.
