Leading Big Pharma Data Driven Programmatic Media Company Adding More Experience

Medicx Media Solutions has hired former Millennial Media strategy executive Jay Krihak as its head of programmatic strategy and products as Medicx looks to ramp up its expertise and leadership position in the data driven media services of the Pharmaceutical and Health sectors.

Krihak is an experienced, award-winning agency and programmatic ad tech executive. Most recently, Krihak led sales planning teams for mobile platform Jumptap. After being acquired by mobile marketplace leader Millennial Media, Krihak focused on Agency Development, creating agency partnerships that accelerated revenue growth.

Prior to mobile ad tech, Krihak was a Senior Partner at MEC, responsible for key accounts such as Novartis, Cadbury Schweppes, Xerox and AT&T. In addition to client responsibilities, Krihak built the Gaming Innovation practice, working with clients such as Energizer, Stride Gum and KFC on building video game lifestyle activation initiatives. Award nominations and wins for his work across Xerox and Stride Gum highlighted his time at the agency.

Over the years, Krihak has been an active industry leader through IAB and 4 A's committees, published articles on Mediapost and been a speaker at several industry conferences.

He joins the Medicx executive team that is led by Michael Weintraub, founder and CEO, and has been tasked with helping clients understand and adapt Medicx Media’s unique and proprietary data and programmatic technologies.

Weintraub said: “Jay brings immense agency and vendor experiences with a deep expertise of media strategy, planning, and buying along with how to leverage data and supporting technologies to support all clients – from the most cautious to the most programmatically sophisticated – in getting the very most out of the emerging landscape.”

The appointment is effective immediately.
