TV4 Entertainment and the All Warrior Network partner with Ricky Schroder Productions and The US Army to release series that gives civilians a backstage pass to Army life and careers.

Today, TV4 Entertainment, creator and distributor of targeted broadband channels, including its military channel in partnership with Musa Productions, the All Warrior Network, debuts "Starting Strong", a reality television series produced by Ricky Schroder Productions and supported by the United States Army. All Warrior Network will launch seasons 1 and 2 of "Starting Strong" across its distribution footprint, including its website (http://www.allwarriornetwork.com), Vimeo, Vessel, and YouTube with additional distribution partners added over the coming months.

Golden Globe ® Winner Ricky Schroder and Ricky Schroder Productions have partnered with the U.S. Army to produce an innovative, non-scripted approach to educating and informing America about Army life and potential careers called "Starting Strong."

"Starting Strong", currently in production for its 3rd season, is a reality-styled television series that provides an in-depth look into the Army profession. Each of the episodes introduces the public to a different candidate who is given the opportunity to learn the requirements of a military occupational specialty (MOS). "Starting Strong" exposes potential recruits to the US Army and the ways in which Army service can translate into successful lives and careers, both within the Army ranks and beyond.

Each episode follows a civilian immersed in a new “MOS” and takes the audience on their personal journey in learning about what it takes to become a medic, a mechanic, a helicopter pilot or other Army specialty, as active duty soldiers impart the leadership and specialty skills the Army teaches its men and women. Participants experience Army life firsthand by working one-on-one with Soldiers and then make a decision whether to join the Army on the spot or remain a civilian.

"The new program gives an authentic 'behind the scenes' look into the Army and some of its 150 military occupational specialties,” said Alison Bettencourt, with the Army Marketing and Research Group. "The show is also a unique way to reach the 18-to-24-year olds who the Army would like to recruit,” she said.

“We are proud to bring "Starting Strong" to our global All Warrior Network audience,” said Jon Cody, CEO of TV4 Entertainment. “Ricky and team have done an excellent job demonstrating the wide variety of skills and occupations that the US Army instills into our young service men and women.”

"'Starting Strong' is a backstage pass for a curious civilian,” said Schroder. “The audience gets to know soldiers in meaningful ways and learn about the real and important jobs they do every day for our country.”
