The Orange Branch is Balance Point's newly formed committee dedicated to helping others in the community.

We're proud of our staff for taking initiative and helping both our clients and others in the community by giving back.

Balance Point, a payroll & human capital management company in Glen Rock, NJ, has proven that it’s more than just a business by expanding its efforts to give back. Balance Point has created a task force of team members specifically dedicated to the mission of reaching out into the community and supporting causes that are important to their employees and clients. This group has recently been established as The Orange Branch, inspired by their company color and software, Orange.

The Orange Branch is not just about donations and fundraising, but also about taking the time to make a real difference. This includes volunteering, spending time with non-profits, and coming together to do good things.

In the short time since The Orange Branch was founded, it has already connected with multiple charities and non-profits and plans to continually expand its effort. Before it was officially named The Orange Branch, the team's very first accomplishment involved working closely with Lil Bravest, a charity that improves the quality of life for hospitalized children. Since then, members of the Balance Point staff have tackled Tough Mudders to raise money for Wounded Warriors and the Green Beret Foundation and have taken on a construction project to help a local Habitat for Humanity. The continued participation recently inspired the group to become an official "branch" of Balance Point, with meetings twice a month to research and develop new volunteer opportunities. And so, The Orange Branch was born.

Already on the schedule for 2015's list of events is a 5k run to raise money for Good Grief, a NJ-based children’s grief counseling non-profit, as well as a "Christmas in July" celebration with hospitalized children, plus ongoing collections for local food banks and shelters. Every endeavor has been backed with great support from the entire Balance Point staff and The Orange Branch is always looking for new organizations to partner with in the future.
