Accurate Mortgage Group is proud to present a worthy recipient with a college scholarship through the Bootstraps Foundation
Nashville, TN (PRWEB) May 27, 2015 -- Accurate Mortgage Group is proud to participate in the Bootstraps Foundation and present a deserving high school graduate with a college scholarship for the fall. Established in 1987 to champion the higher educational needs of Middle Tennessee students who have demonstrated the effort and will to succeed in the face of adversity, the Bootstraps Foundation grants scholarships to deserving young women and men in our community.
Made possible by donations, Bootstraps has granted nearly $1 million in scholarships since it’s inception. Students are nominated by the principal and faculty of their school, with only one nomination per school per year accepted from Cheatham, Davidson, Robertson, Rutherford, Sumner, Williamson, and Wilson counties in Middle Tennessee. Winners are selected from the nominees by a panel of judges who understand the concept of “pulling yourself up by your bootstraps.” Finalists undergo a personal interview with the Bootstraps Selection Committee and are presented their scholarships at The Bootstraps Foundation Annual Banquet each May.
Accurate Mortgage Group is a local business dedicated to giving back to the community. “We have grown our business here in Middle Tennessee and are deeply connected to the community,” says Mike Hoover, of Accurate Mortgage Group. “We understand adversity and the courage it takes to excel in the face of difficult circumstances, and could not be happier about providing this scholarship to a local receipient.”
